The artist-in-residence programme of the French Cultural Centre “CCR Les Dominicains de Haute-Alsace” is intended for artists in the disciplines of music, digital arts, performance and botanical art.
The artist-in-residence programme takes place at the AUDIOVISUAL CENTRE of the Convent.
The Odyssée programme is intended for artists from outside of France, not residing in the country.

With the support of the French Ministry of Culture, the Association of French Cultural Centres (ACCR) coordinates the Odyssée artist-in-residence programme. This programme is designed for artists, researchers and professionals from countries other than France who wish to work on projects at French Cultural Centres in line with the specialisations of these centres. Since 2003, more than 800 artists and culture professionals from 79 different countries have taken part in the programme, in areas as wide-ranging as music, architecture, arts and crafts, the visual arts, dramatic writing, animated filmmaking, photography, journalism, and more.
The call for entries for 2025 is now open ; it is for artists, researchers and culture professionals from any country other than France.
We strongly encourage female artists, professionals and researchers to apply.
Artists, researchers and culture professionals wanting to apply for a residency period within a French Cultural Centre during 2025 have to fill-in the form following the link : https://forms.gle/1AyaaCtpk9KZKEmh8, before the 9th of March 2025.
The submissions must include :
• the applicant’s curriculum vitae
• the project that the applicant intends to carry out during the residency, in line with the activity and specific project of the French Cultural Centre “CCR les Dominicains de Haute-Alsace”: music, digital arts, performance and botanical art
• a portfolio of works or links to recorded works of music, theatre performances, etc.
• a letter of motivation
• a letter of recommendation
• proof of residence (electricity bill, phone bill, etc.)
• a photocopy of the applicant’s passport or ID card.

Successful applicants will be awarded a maintenance grant of €1,200 per month, and the refunding of their travel fees (up to a determined level depending on the distance from their country to the CCR). Residents receive room and board provided by the CCR Les Dominicains, either in the form of food service on the premises or on the basis of a daily allowance.
Residents are provided with technical resources to carry out their residency project.
Residency grants are normally awarded for a duration of 1 to 6 months.
Provisional timetable :
• March 9th 2025: application deadline
• May 2025: Meeting of the Odyssée Residency Commission
• June 2025: responses to applications
The residencies will take place beginning in autumn 2025, until summer 2026.
